Desert Hot Springs 4th of July fireworks extravaganza hosted by the City of Desert Hot Springs is back! This year’s display is scheduled to take place on the weekend before July 4th, on Saturday, July 1st, from 6pm to 10pm at Mission Springs Park. Join the community for an unforgettable evening filled with good music, delicious American food, and a breathtaking fireworks display to celebrate our nation’s birthday. The fireworks display will start at 9:15pm. Make sure to secure a prime viewing spot to enjoy this magical experience fully.
Get your skates on at Agua Caliente Casino’s roller skating rink
Head down to Agua Caliente Casino in Cathedral City for their 4th of July weekend roller skating rink on July 1st and 2nd. Expect a night of fun for all ages skating around the rink, with live DJs, games, raffles, and prizes too! Each session lasts for 1 hour, the 7 – 9 pm session is suitable for all ages, and the 9 pm-midnight sessions are for ages 21+.

Palm Deserts’ Independence Day celebration
Celebrate Independence Day in Palm Desert with an evening of good friends, music, and a fantastic fireworks display, for one of the biggest 4th of July events in Palm Springs this year! On Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, starting at 7:30 p.m., Civic Center Park’s amphitheater will come alive with a free concert featuring pop hits for you and your crew to dance along to. Shortly after, at 9 pm., prepare to be awestruck as the night sky illuminates with a breathtaking 20-minute fireworks display, which will be synchronized with patriotic-themed songs!
You can find lots of delicious treats and drinks from various food trucks and vendors, or bring your own picnic while enjoying the show. Remember to bring blankets, chairs, and a flashlight for a comfortable evening. However, it’s worth noting that alcoholic beverages, smoking, and portable barbeques are prohibited at this event for safety reasons.

This one-night special takes place on July 4th, and parking opens at 3 PM. Alternatively, you can opt for the Drive-In Experience starting at 7 PM so that you can enjoy the magic of the fireworks from the comfort of your own vehicle.
