A Valentine’s Reset Retreat
Hosted at Onsen Hotel & Spa by Akal

February 13 – 15, 2026

A gentle reset to begin the year feeling nourished, grounded, and supported

The Valentine’s Reset Retreat led by Akal is an intimate, guided weekend for those who feel ready to slow down, release, and reconnect.

This experience centers on rest, clean nourishment, and personal choice. Guests are invited to participate in what feels supportive, whether that means joining group practices, soaking in our mineral pools, booking a massage, or simply resting and resetting.

This is all about you, your reset, at your own pace.

Meet Your Guides

Akal | Kundalini Yoga Therapist & Amazonian Kambo Facilitator
Akal is a ceremonial facilitator, Kundalini Yoga therapist, and retreat guide devoted to ancestral healing, nervous system restoration, and embodied integration.

Rooted in Indigenous wisdom and holistic wellness, Akal’s work is grounded in the belief that the body carries innate intelligence and the capacity to heal when supported with care, reverence, and community. She creates trauma-aware, heart-centered spaces where participants can safely release, reconnect, and return to themselves.

For over eight years, Akal has studied and facilitated healing modalities including Kambo, Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, somatic practices, cacao ceremony, and integration-based retreat work. Her personal healing journey with Kambo began in 2017 while navigating anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, which led her into years of apprenticeship, immersion, and service before stepping into facilitation.

Akal works alongside experienced co-facilitators and support staff to ensure retreats are held with professionalism, safety, and deep care. Her retreats are designed for individuals seeking clarity, renewal, emotional release, and tools they can integrate into daily life long after the retreat ends.

Scott Polhill | Ceremonial Kambo Co-Facilitator

Scott Polhill is a Medical Qigong Practitioner, ceremonial facilitator, and musician whose work bridges Indigenous wisdom, somatic healing, and Eastern medicine traditions.

Trained in the Temple of Celestial Clouds lineage, Scott’s approach integrates Medical Qigong, breathwork, sound, and ritual to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and embodied strength. His path into healing work emerged through his own recovery journey, where Kambo and other traditional medicines played a pivotal role in supporting profound personal transformation.

This experience ultimately guided Scott to leave the entertainment industry and dedicate his life to service, study, and healing. His training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong, and holistic wellness informs a grounded, safety-centered approach to ceremonial work.

Scott brings a calm, steady presence to retreats, supporting participants as they reconnect with resilience, clarity, and their inner “warrior” — not through force, but through awareness, compassion, and integration.
